Forced to postpone their wedding date due to COVID restrictions, and then later forced to pivot to a Baltimore Micro-wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, Mary & Ryan were relieved when their wedding day had finally arrived. Their original wedding date was for April 4, 2020 – and I was heartbroken for them when I got their call about postponing. But was happy to hear that they had selected a new date I was available for. But then, the day before their new wedding date, Baltimore City announced new capacity restrictions going into effect right when their wedding ceremony should have been happening. Instead of postponing yet again, they simply decided to move their ceremony time up, in order to be done by the time the restrictions went into effect. While it wasn’t exactly what they had planned, their Baltimore Micro-wedding at the BMI still had them surrounded by their closest friends and family, and the love of everyone else from afar.
The girls got ready at Mary+Ryan’s house, with the team from Vintage Veils glamming them up. Meanwhile, Violet Floral Designs was concocting some beautiful flower arrangements on site. And can we talk just a minute about the ceremony A-Frame?! Not only are the florals gorgeous, but Ryan made the a-frame himself!! Zeffert & Gold created an amazing menu for this micro-wedding, and I always look forward to their foodage! Lower guest counts mean you can splurge a little on a great meal, so there ARE silver linings to everything!
As wedding favors, guests were given bottles of hand sanitizer to spread love, not germs. Adorable! Mary+Ryan, congratulations again! At the end of the day, you are married to your soulmate, and that’s all that matters! Much Love, ❤️ tPoz
