Baltimore Standup Paddleboarding at B’more SUP

Earlier this summer, one of my favorite yoga instructors slash Baltimore Standup Paddleboarding instructors, Jessie Benson, asked if I would be interested in shooting some new pics for her company, B’more SUP.  My answer was a resounding yes, especially since we could shoot at sunrise!  It was actually pretty chilly at sunrise, but felt amazing as the sun began to warm the air.  After Jessie demonstrated how to size your paddle and how to stroke, they started out doing a group paddle – similar to what is offered during their Wednesday evening and Friday morning Social Paddles.  Those are my favorites – just some relaxed paddles on Bear Creek!  Then they anchored by a nearby beach and did some FloYo – yoga on the paddleboard – which is a great, challenging workout!  We ended with some individual shots of each instructor & then some fun on the dock.  Usually, I like to finish up a nice paddle with an refreshing orange crush at the neighboring Hard Yacht Cafe. 🙂

I’m already looking forward to my next paddle on the water – who wants to join me!?
