Tavern on the Bay Wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

Ashley+Kevin celebrated their Tavern on the Bay wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club last summer, and it was nothing short of perfect!! The weather was gorgeous, the sunset was amazing, and Ashley’s laughter was contagious!
The girls got ready at one of the adorable cottages at the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. These cottages are the cutest things, I would live in one if I could! With 2 bathrooms (perfect for girls getting ready), and a front porch to enjoy a quiet moment on, it’s a lovely space for a smaller wedding party to get ready!
Kevin’s daughter made for the cutest flower girl – she was over the moon excited to don her floral crown & put on her dress and shoes! Ashley surprised her with reciting her own vows to her new daughter, resulting in perhaps a tear or two down my own cheek. And she stole the show with her moves on the dance floor!
After their wedding ceremony on the lawn, we took some time for portraits overlooking the Bay Bridge while guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the deck upstairs. The reception in the Tavern on the Bay Ballroom was beautifully decked out by Rhonda Kaplan Floral Design, and crab cookies waited on each place setting as favors. The Bachelor Boys Band rocked the party & kept it going all the way until the last of the late night snacks were devoured & the streamer sendoff sent Ashley+Kevin into their Happily Ever After!
