Turf Valley Resort Wedding :: Claire+Emilio

After their superfun engagement session, I was really looking forward to Claire+Emilio’s Turf Valley Resort Wedding!  They chose the Baltimore Basilica to hold their wedding ceremony at, as they simply loved the look of America’s First Cathedral.  For their wedding reception, they chose Turf Valley for the lush grounds and spacious Waterford Ballroom.  Sara Reynolds Events was on hand to flawlessly execute this beautiful day!

Wedding prep began at the resort, with Up Do’s for I Do’s rocking out the hair & makeup on the bridesmaids.  The girls each wore a monogrammed denim shirt that they had received as a gift from the bride.  Once the girls helped to get Claire into her gown, it was time to head over to the church for the wedding ceremony!  

Meanwhile, my 2nd shooter, Jess, spent some time with Emilio & his groomsmen.  On the bus ride to the church, she captured some really special tender moments between Emilio & his brother tearing up together.  ohmyheart! 

The Baltimore Basilica is absolutely beautiful & lends itself to gorgeous light & airy photos.  I especially love the huge arched windows, and the checkered tile and columns on the front porch.  The ceremony itself was lovely, and one or two more tears were shed  😉  I love an emotional groom!

After we finished up at the Basilica, we headed back to Turf Valley for some more portraits.  The fountain is always a favorite spot.  Since there was another wedding ceremony going on, we decided to stay on the front side of the resort/golf course, which had some beautiful spots, and some gorgeous flowers.

The Waterford Ballroom is a beautiful wedding venue on the far side of the resort.  The ballroom can accommodate 200 guests, and features a private reception area, foyer that is great for cocktail hour, and a balcony with great views.
