Baltimore Greek Wedding at The Grand Lodge of Maryland

Ever since I met with Akis, Panagiota+her mother, I was really looking forward to their Baltimore Greek wedding at The Grand Lodge of Maryland!  With Pam from Elizabeth Bailey Weddings, at the helm, I knew it would be an exceptional event, and it turned out to be more grand than I could have ever imagined!  I began the day with Panagiota+the girls (& her pup Bella!) who were getting ready at the Delta Hotel in Hunt Valley.  I was simply blown away by her Badgley Mischka gown from Francesca’s Bridal, and all of her details accentuated her elegant beauty. 

After a few portraits at the hotel, we were off to the wedding ceremony at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.  Crowns (stefana) were placed upon their heads by their Koumbaro (sponsors), rings were bestowed upon their right hands, and after three walks around the altar table, the lovebirds were pronounced husband+wife.  Then they were whisked away via white Bentley to their reception at The Grand Lodge of Maryland.  However, not before we could snag some epic fairytale-type sunset portraits on the front lawn!  After that, we headed inside, where their Tuscany-inspired ballroom and their friends and family awaited the introduction of the new Mr. & Mrs.  The florals from Ann’s Garden were truly spectacular and transformed the room.  Both a Greek band and an American-style music deejay took turns playing music, after Linwoods Catering served guests a duet of lobster & filet.  Between the dollar bills flying during the Greek dancing and the American jams, the dance floor was buzzing all night!

Panagiota+Akis – what a perfect day!  I couldn’t be happier for you as you start this new chapter in your lives.  Congrats you guys!  Much love, ♥ tPoz
