The morning was heavy with clouds, and threatened to drizzle, but the overcast sky gave us some really incredible light to shoot in at Nicole+Scott’s Duke Farm wedding, in Fawn Grove, PA. After Jenny Tomaszewski put the finishing touches on their hair and makeup, the bridesmaids got dressed in the bridal cottage, and helped Nicole into her beautiful Wtoo dress from Betsy Robinsons. Nicole – you were STUNNING. And I loved your birdcage veil!
Meeting in the middle of a corn field, Nicole+Scott chose to do a First Look (HOOORAY!) which gave us plenty of time for pictures before the ceremony. The look on Scott’s face, when he saw his bride for the first time, was simply priceless. They exchanged gifts, and Scott immediately put on his new Jets cufflinks!
After a touching ceremony, the couple was pronounced husband and wife, and kissed to seal the deal. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the barn, and got some snapshots in the Photobooth by One Rock Studio. Nicole+her mom made the ‘timeline’ table centerpieces themselves, including her grandmother’s doily on the centerpiece for the sweetheart table. Gorgeous florals were provided by Rutland Beard Florist of Ruxton. Nicole made 2 charms for her bouquet, which was a beautiful way to showcase pictures of Nicole with her 2 grandfathers who had passed away.
We took advantage of the gorgeous evening, and I stole Nicole+Scott away for a few more sunset pictures! Giving me the time to get these pictures, ALWAYS results in amazing images, so Thank you guys for stepping away from the party for a few!! The reception was off to a great start, with such a fun Horah! Mr. B’s Entertainment kept the crowd grooving all night long, and played a great mix of music for all ages! Finishing out the night, with a super-fun sparkler exit, and had a great time playing with the light! Thanks to all my helpers for running around Nicole+Scott like crazy people with sparklers! 😉
A huge thank you to my second shooter, Jamie Compofelice, for helping to capture the big day!
Much Love, tPoz
