Elk Manor Winery Wedding :: Katie+Mike

Katie+Mike shared the most perfect day surrounded by their friends & family at their Elk Manor Winery wedding! Katie’s bridesmaids greeted the guys by ‘icing” them, and Mike was blown away by the gift Katie had gotten him. Everyone laughed at the note that said she’d probably be a little late 😉

After a beautiful ceremony overlooking the water, surrounded by their family & friends, Katie and Mike were pronounced husband and wife!  Immediately afterwards, they went to dig up the bottle of bourbon that they had buried.  Southern tradition says that if you bury a full bottle of bourbon upside down at your ceremony site, exactly one month before your wedding, rain will be kept away!   And it was a bright, sunshiney day for sure – albeit a bit on the warm side!   The Bachelor Boys heated up the dance floor, Eleven Courses Catering provided an amazing meal for guests, and Pixilated Photobooth captured some of the craziness!

I was truly honored to capture the moments that made up this amazing day, and I just wish we could do it all over again (but maybe a tad bit cooler?!)
