Our foster dog, Cocoa Kelly, got adopted • I shot a few sunrise sessions for the Cherry Blossoms in DC • Shot an engagement session in Dewey Beach • Lunched with some of my fave photog friends • Shot a wedding in Rehoboth Beach & chowed on Fractured Prune • Made short ribs • Wedding walk thru at an amazing nursery • the first of many many crabby Shore Night’s this summer at Ryleighs!We went to St. Maarten to celebrate our 6th anniversary • Lots of good food, good drink, amazing views • There was an earthquake while we were on island! • I shot a fantastic destination wedding while in St. Maarten!
My brother got married & I shot his wedding in Florida • I gained a new sister-in-law • Wedding season has begun – I love to see my couples invites roll in • Spent a weekend at the beach with my girlfriends • summer salads • The Starbucks guy spelled my name right without asking! (yes, that was def a highlight of Q2!!) • Canoe beer tubs at weddings=AWESOME!
Went strawberry picking • Made strawberry jam • ate strawberries for a week straight • got up early to see beautiful flowers at the Farmers Market • tried to decipher the secret recipe of Ryleigh’s Feta Corn • Felt famous when I was asked to autograph a piece of my work • learned a new sparkler/flashlight technique • hung out with amazing friends!
I think I want to make it into the next instagram recap. None of this Emily and Ashley crap. 🙂 Looks so fun!!

strawberry picking is my favorite!
So not fair….there is way too much food in that recap. That is especially mean to put Fractured Prune and crabs right next to each other. I want both. Now.

I am a fan of instagram recaps! I’m interested in your jam making process. We have a fig tree in our backyard and I want to make jam with the figs.
