Liz brushed a slow tear away from Roza’s face, as they reveled in the joyful moment when they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. The hours leading up to their First Look were frenzied, as the girls prepped separately. My 2nd shooter, Jamie, and I spent most of the morning with Liz, as she sat quietly painting her nieces’ nails and her own, writing out notes, and listening to some tunes from a throwback CD from her sister.
After their First Look, their ceremony at Emmanuel Episcopal Church was truly personal, and instead of bridal parties, they had Bridal Families to include those who helped shape them into the individuals that they had grown to be. The celebration of their love was followed by a reception in the church Great Room, with a family style dinner, beautiful toasts to the couple, and dance floor grooves!
I am incredibly honored that I was allowed to document the moments that made up their big day. The delicate sweet love that Liz+Roza share is unlike anything I have seen before, and it is something that inspires me in my own marriage. Congratulations to you both!! Much Love, ♥ tPoz
