Despite their feeling anxious about this photo session, Jenny & Kenny met me for their Old Town Alexandria Engagement photos late Sunday afternoon. We started at the church where they will be getting married (and where her parents and grandparents also got married!) From there, we wandered the adorable streets and alleyways of this quaint little area, intermittently asking “wonder how much THAT house goes for!?” We stopped at the tunnel (I’m not really sure what it really is or why it’s there!?) to get a few beautiful images. I absolutely loved the texture, the variance in lights and darks, and the cool calm nature of this little block long tunnel tucked away from the hub bub of the city. From there we headed over to the waterfront Shipyard Park, and back to the cobblestone streets. The gorgeous light pouring down that street – ahhh I could have shot there all day long! Jenny – you already know how much I loved that dress on you & you look absolutely radiant! Kenny – thank you for humoring me & giving the camera just enough sass and sweetness 😉 You guys rocked it out! Can’t wait for your Georgetown Westin wedding!
Much Love, ♥ tPoz
