Rehoboth Beach Engagement Session :: Alyssa+Jonathan

I was super excited to shoot Alyssa+Jonathan’s Rehoboth Beach engagement session, since that is where they started dating!  Being a Dewey girl myself, I was excited to get back to the little town, and enjoy the quiet time there before the season started (and get a chicken cheesesteak from Grotto’s!).  I met these two adorable lovebirds in Dewey Beach at The Starboard, and we snagged a few pictures there!  It was kind of funny being there, wearing more clothes than the usual summer sundress, and the few people there were crowded around the fire pit!  We then headed up the street to the Rehoboth Boardwalk, where we took some pics on the boardwalk.  It was super windy and cold, but these two totally rocked it out –  You can’t even tell that Alyssa was chattering and about to turn blue!  We took a few minutes of refuge from the wind in a warm little alley, which had the most beautiful golden light.  After a sweet stop in Candy Kitchen, a wardrobe change (I adored their clothing selections!) and then we finished up on the beach, close to the surf.  I tried to warm them up by having them run sprints in the sand, which helped just a little  😉  The dusky light was just simply amazing, and if it wasn’t so dang cold, I could have shot forever right there!  Alyssa+Jonathan – THANK YOU for such an amazing session!!  I had so much fun with you guys, and I love these images of the two of you!  Can’t wait for your November wedding!
