Winter is a wonderful time for a Belvedere wedding, but you would never have known it was winter on Laurie+Cory’s wedding day! The weather was actually quite balmy, with some warm breezes blowing!
Laurie and her girls got their hair done at Fringe Salon, and then came home to get glammed up by Nicole Palermo! Her mom and bridesmaids helped her slip into her Pronovias gown from Francesca’s bridal shop, and she placed her mom-mom’s wedding band onto her finger. We met the boys at St. Stephen’s of Bradshaw, where Laurie+Cory had their First Look. I can’t even tell you how much I adore when couples share a First Look before the ceremony! LOVE!
Even though they had already seen each other, it was still an emotion filled walk down the aisle, where Cory was waiting to make Laurie his wife. They shared vows with one another, and lit a candle unifying their families as one. The happiness on their faces was immeasurable, as they floated down the aisle as a married couple, and hopped into the waiting vintage car to head down to The Belvedere.
Cocktail Hour was held in the J. Eager Howard Ballroom, and the reception in the Charles Ballroom. This beautiful wedding had lots of elegant Baltimore touches, including a crab bushel for cards, canisters of Old Bay, and engraved mallets with their names and wedding date on them. Steve Moody got the party started, and guests were asked to join the dance floor immediately after Laurie+Cory finished their first dance! It definitely set the tone for the fun evening ahead. Truffles Catering at the Belvedere always provides top notch food, and this event was no exception. Guests enjoyed cupcakes from Flavor Cupcakery to satisfy their sweet tooth. And I would be remiss not to mention that since Laurie is a graphic designer by trade, she designed and made all of her invitations, stationary, and paper goods! SO gorgeous!
A big thank you to my wonderful second shooter, Jamie C Photography, for helping me to capture all of the special moments!
