WPPI & Cancun Destination Wedding! [Baltimore Wedding & Portrait Photographer]

What happens in Vegas…is going to be soaked up like a sponge!  In one week from today, I’ll be arriving in Fabulous Las Vegas to attend the 2011 WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Professionals International) Conference!  WPPI is the largest photographer conference in the world, with over 15,000 photographers in attendance, and it’s always held in Las Vegas.  This will be my first year attending, and I am beyond excited for it!  The classes are going to be amazing, the networking opportunities will be endless, and the humongous trade show will be forcing me to leave my wallet at home in the icebox!
I have preregistered for a Speedlight workshop with JVS, and three Master Classes, concentrating on Portrait Retouching with David Cuerdon, Video Light with Sara France, and Boudoir Photography with Jacquelynn Buck.  This is in addition to the plethora of platform classes available each day from 8am to 8pm.  And just because I like to overdo it just a little – I am participating in three different photo shoots while I’m out there with Bella Designs/Laura Marchbanks, Victor Sizemore & Kelly Segre!  So as you can see – lots to do, lots to learn, lots of networking to be had – and I’m READY!

And after this crazy week – instead of flying home – I will be taking the redeye from Vegas, straight to Cancun, Mexico to shoot a destination wedding at the Moon Palace Resort & Spa. Super. Stoked.

So look for some amazing stuff coming up on the blog – I can’t wait to share it with you!   And because a blog post without a photo is no fun – here’s a pic of the frozen snowy tundra that Baltimore has been lately  😉
