I’m not a morning person AT.ALL. But getting up early, and driving down to DC for Cailey+Fritz’s Cherry Blossom Engagement Session was enough to make me squeal with excitement! Cailey had told me that Fritz didn’t have all that much imput in the wedding planning, but that shooting during the Cherry Blossoms was his idea and we went with it! The beautiful light, the soft pinks of the just peaked blossoms, along with the model good looks of this couple, made this session amazing! We hung out mostly by the Jefferson Memorial, and mingled in the blooming trees along the Tidal Basin. Cailey and Fritz were so awesome during this shoot, and even though the sun came out in full force for their second (wool dress & suit) outfit change, they kept those beautiful smiles on their faces. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite (I love so many of these!) – but I love the ones of them tossing the magnolia petals in the air! Thanks for rocking this session guys. Can’t wait for your Tremont Grand Historic Venue wedding next year!!
Much Love, ♥ tPoz
This is totally freaking amazing. What a gorgeous session!!! Totally worth getting up early and getting out there. I’m sad I missed the blossoms this year. I’m totally motivated to get them next year.
Such a cute couple!! Love the last set of photos with her black dress!!
